Having the surname ‘Dickens’ invariably gives rise to the following question:
“Are you related to Charles Dickens, that famous author who penned novels such as Oliver Twist and A tale of two cities?”
The answer is – yes. I am a direct descendant of Alfred Lamert Dickens, the brother of Charles. That said, I do believe I hold some pedigree, though whether I shall rise to such greatness still remains to be seen.
As far as interests go, I enjoy extreme adrenaline sports and am passionate about wildlife conservation and animal rights. I have been told I have a quirky sense of humour and my double jointed trick tends to amuse friends whenever the opportunity arises.
